("Most Innovative Application of Wearable Computing")
A new approach to dealing with theft of solitude and theft of personal attention
Problem statement:
Currently our brains are open like an unlocked door
Attention thieves can thrust material into our brains without our personal consent.
Thieves can thrust material upon us, possibly putting our lives in danger (e.g. distracting roadsigns, in-band signalling, 2kw/pixel...)
Solitude thieves can violate our personal `right to be left alone', and often do so,
even in private personal spaces.
If the eyes are windows/doors to the soul, then sunglasses (of the appropriate design, e.g. reality mediators) are the locks/shades.
Declaration of self-ownership
Internal mathematical representation: Photoquantigraphic Image Composite (PIC)
Visual filter to regain control of what is rightfully ours (our personal attention), implemented within an embodiment of the WearCam invention.
What the wearer sees coming through the Reality Mediator
